Do you have broken, cracked, or missing teeth? A dental crown or bridge could restore your smile to its natural appearance and functionality.
What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is a synthetic cap that fits over the top of your damaged tooth, covering all visible portions of the tooth down to the gumline. It’s custom crafted from high-quality materials such as porcelain to blend in perfectly with your natural smile.
What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a fixed series of crowns joined together to fill the void created by a missing tooth. A bridge is supported by the surrounding teeth, creating a “bridge” effect.
Both crowns and bridges can dramatically improve your quality of life, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile confidently again.

Benefits You'll Love
Bridges and dental crowns improve your smile's appearance, health, and functionality.
No two smiles are exactly alike. That’s why our bridges and crowns are carefully designed to blend in perfectly with your unique, natural smile.
Missing and damaged teeth can severely compromise the health of your smile, leading to further deterioration and shifting of the surrounding teeth. Bridges and crowns strengthen the underlying tooth, keeping your smile healthy.
Bridges and crowns are crafted from highly durable materials that stand the test of time. When properly cared for, they last for decades.
Recently had a small emergency with a crown; they were fantastic in scheduling me and taking care of the issue. Michele and Dr. Mancuso were professional and caring. I have been coming here for years, and they always (and I mean always) treat me with respect and prompt service.

Have Questions About Bridges and Crowns?
- Are dental bridges and crowns the right choice for me?
Dental bridges and crowns are a great solution for many people, but there are other options to consider as well. For example, dental implants are another excellent choice to restore missing teeth.
Dental implants are an attractive alternative because they completely replace your tooth from root to tip, whereas dental crowns and bridges only restore the top part of your tooth. However, not everyone is a candidate for dental implants, and they’re typically more expensive.
When you come in for your consultation, our dentists will examine your smile and discuss all your options. Together, we’ll make a choice that’s right for your specific needs.
- What is the process for receiving a dental bridge?
Once we’ve determined that a dental bridge is the right solution for you, we’ll start by preparing the existing teeth.
The surrounding teeth will support your dental bridge, so they’ll need to be reshaped and reduced in size to cap them with a crown.
We’ll take a dental impression to create a custom mold of your teeth. The mold is sent off to a dental lab and used to design and fabricate your custom bridge. In the meantime, you’ll receive a temporary crown to protect the tooth.
Once the bridge is back from the lab, we’ll place your beautiful new bridge. You’ll leave our office with a fully restored smile!
- Will my dental bridge or crown require any special care?
With proper care, your dental restoration can last for decades.
To maximize your bridge or crown’s longevity, maintain a diligent at-home hygiene routine as you normally would. At a minimum, brush twice a day and floss once a day.
In addition to flossing around the teeth, you’ll need to floss under the dental bridge. While this can be a bit of an extra challenge, there are tools available to make this easier. We’ll teach you how to do this properly and provide guidance on what tools work the best.
Come in for check-ups and routine cleanings every six months to keep your crown or bridge in top shape.
- How much do dental bridges and crowns cost?
Each smile is unique, so we don’t do one-size-fits-all solutions. When you come in for a consultation, one of our doctors will examine your smile and make recommendations that best fit your needs. From there, we’ll give you an accurate estimate of costs, so you know exactly what to expect.
We believe costs should never stop you from getting high-quality dental care you need and deserve. That’s why we accept many insurance plans and offer multiple convenient payment options, including financing.
