I had a terrible experience at my pediatric dentist office and was left with damage out of my control from braces. I decided to try Dental Heathcare of Woburn and made an appointment to see Chelsea . She is for lack of a better word, amazing. From immediately meeting me she understood how stressed I was and walked me through the process and booking appointments and never left me wondering how I would get my teeth back to healthy. They truly care about their customer’s and understand the financial constraints that come with dental work. I have recommended Chelsea to everyone who is looking for a hygienist!! My former dentist stopped taking my insurance and I had to find a new one. I specifically looked for a female-run practice near my home from my insurance company's provider directory. I was very impressed with my first appointment. My hygienist, Trisha, was knowledgeable and compassionate. She took the time to understand my personal challenges w/ dental care and come up w/ strategies to improve them. For example, she helped me buy a water flosser while I was in her chair, so I wouldn't procrastinate or overthink it. She fostered a lot of trust with me.read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Mancuso and her team for the past one year. As someone who has had multiple bad experiences with past dentists, I was terrified when I went in for my first visit at Dental Health Care, Woburn. During the first session with Dr. Mancuso, she patiently listened while I detailed all my past experiences and then she went on to calmly address each one of my concerns, not once did she look down upon me while I asked her countless questions on the procedures needed, pain management etc. She worked with her team on a detailed treatment plan, and scheduled the appointments factoring in times that would also work best for my work schedule. Another person I would highlight is Christine, who has been equal parts doctor and friend through all the procedures. She is attentive, thoughtful and extremely observant, watched out for the slightest sign of discomfort and along with Dr. Mancuso, made me feel like I was in the safest hands possible. Why has Dental Healthcare been my dentist for almost 30 years?* Excellent people - I have seen 4 hygienists over the years. All great and one I’m still friends with on Facebook.Chelsea is my latest and she is wonderful.* Cutting edge technology - They are always a step ahead with the best methods and technology. It comes from being both practitioners and professors.* Cater to cowards - They are incredibly gentle and welcoming. It’s embarrassing to say, but I have actually fallen asleep while in the chair.To be balanced, I have tried two other dentists along the way. One much closer to my new house and another because the root canal and crown cost me much less out of pocket (because my BCBS dental does not cover as much as my older Delta Dental). I am a brand new client of dental health care of Woburn, and I have to say this is easily one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. The women at the front desk were helpful, patient, and attentive to all customers there. I then went in to my appointment and had not only wonderful services from my dental hygienist, but she was beyond nice and explained everything she was doing in great detail. After my X-rays and photo imaging of my teeth was done, I then was greeted by the main doctor on duty and he was incredibly helpful and used digestible language to explain everything that I will need done in future appointments. They're super nice here and don't make me feel bad about it when I have cavities. Every time I have to schedule an appointment or come in the front door the people at the desk are super helpful and friendly. I really appreciate the way they answered all my questions about insurance and copays.Chelsea who cleaned my teeth is efficient with the unpleasant parts (the scraping and flossing and measuring gums) while still being really friendly and talkative. She really seems to care about her patients and our lives. I saw that they do a new patient special so I booked that. the dentist was so kind, honest, calm, and made me feel safe (which was appreciated since I have some anxiety about dentist visits). I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Mancuso and her staff. I suffer from an intense fear and anxiety of dental procedures. I believe, I have the correct names of the dentist assistant, Deanna and Diane, whom went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and understood what Dr. Mancuso was going to do every step of the way. Knowing what to expect definitely helped my fear. Proud that I didn’t need any additional meds to get through the process-yay! Dr. Mancuso had her work cut out for her as I avoided the dentist visit as long as possible 😜 She was extremely professional and gentle with the various visits I needed. She had a system in place if I felt pain or discomfort and did exceptional work! My initial treatment plan with Dr. Mancuso took a few visits over a 3 month span. Now I have graduated to the standard hygienist visit with Dr. Mancuso stepping in to do a quick check to make sure all is well. My hygienist is Leah who is also very professional and caring. She also gives me the step by step instructions which is key when you experience anxiety at the dentist! Amazing practice with unbelievably caring staff. Leah told me the hardest part is show up and I’ve managed to do that with there excellent teamwork! Thank you!read more

When I was in horrible pain at 2 AM due to a toothache and a suspected infection, Dental Health Care of Woburn was the first to respond to me the following morning with an appointment later that day. Their efficient and thoughtful response to my rather frantic late-night voicemail is just one testament to their incredible staff and exceptional care. Can I give 10 stars here? After having dental anxiety for years, I came to Dental Health Care of Woburn. Robyn up front is amazing and so nice. She really helped getting me in there and showing me everything. I had Trish for my dental hygienist, also amazing, she was friendly, went through everything step by step, and answered all my questions. Doctor Mancuso talked to me about my treatment and gave me her suggestions. I met with Deborah after my cleaning to schedule some appointments and she was friendly and very nice as well. I can honestly say that my dental anxieties are gone after coming here. I wish I had come in years ago. Outstanding service! I travel about 1.5 hours to get to the Woburn office so when there was an April snow storm, of course I left at 5.30am to get there for my 8am appointment. My hygienist was not able to make it in and instead of saying “sorry, you’ll have to make another appointment” they opened up, got me in earlier than scheduled (& ahead of their formal opening) and as always, it was a pleasant experience! They cared about my safety (get me back home as soon as possible) and that I had traveled so far in the snow to get there for my appointment. Robyn at the front desk was extremely helpful, and quick, when trying to figure out my insurance and what was/was not covered. My hygienist, Trish, was personable, caring, respectful and honest. Doctors Trainor, Morin and Mancuso have been my dentists since 1985! I have had many dental and surgical procedures including root canals, crowns and most recently implants. Take away the sign out front and have a random person walk in and they would never guess it was a dental office. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the office is beautiful and comfortable. When the technician comes to bring you to the patient area, the first impression is wow. Having dental work done is never on the top of someones "I can't wait to do this" list, however the staff and overall comfort level at this establishment really make it a pleasant experience. I am very satisfied beyond satisfied on how I was treated in this office. One of my biggest fears is the dentist, it has taken me about 7 years to go. Top Notch Dental Office. I came here in an emergency and they calmed me down and took great care of me. I made an appointment for a quick feedback session with Chelsea, my hygienist. She took a picture of the area that had tartar build up told me I could come in and she would clean that up for me for a reasonable fee. It was a little over $100. I agreed. I came back a couple of days later and she got rid of the tartar and helped me learn a new flossing technique to help do a better job. I absolutely love coming here!read more

Were do I even start. Wonderful staff. Customer service is outta this world. First time going to a dentist in ten years which completely embarrassing. I had to go for a surgical tooth extraction. Of course my nerves were going had the best of me but the women there are amazing all them are polite treat you like like one of their owns. The doctor was amazing older gentleman performed the operation quick and painless didn't feel a thing trust me people I was so skeptical and stuff especially being so long since I've went but I highly recommend this place wish I was staying in the states or I would make them my primary. 30 mins away but worth every freaking min. So pleased as I sit here with a tooth remoaved writing this review zero pain still a little number. But I'm so happy. I called and they said that they could see us right away and had us come right in. From the moment that you walk into their practice you cant help but be impressed. You will be greeted promptly by their friendly and efficient staff. You will notice their state of the art facilities and the pride that they take in keeping it clean, warm, and inviting. I was impressed with the level of professionalism in which they projected seemingly effortlessly. They were as close to my scheduled time to be seen as any dentist"s office has ever been. The Doctors and Assistants were with us immediately, identified the issue and let me know what my options were in language that I could understand clearly. As a single father, you try to be prepared for what ever life throws at you. Sometimes somethings catch you off guard and the people there understood that. They were able to offer me multiple ways to pay for the work that my daughter needed to be done. The work was finished in what seemed to be instantly. I would recommend Dental Care of Woburn to anyone and everyone that I know. It truly is the very best dentists office that I have ever been to. As a disclaimer, I am usually very hard to please. I received great service from the moment I walked into the office for the first time. The ladies at the front were very personable and welcoming. Jessica took me back to start my consult and cleaning. I am 6 months pregnant and they made sure to advise in the right direction over pushing for more treatments. The staff here is awesome and you'll never feel forgotten or alone. Even on the weekends if something happens like a abscessed tooth they'll page the Dr's and one if not both will get back to you within a few hours. I came to these folks as a “fixer-upper”, with the standard dental ills of middle age. (Brushing and flossing isn’t enough!). They have cleaned me up very nicely paying as much attention to gums (where trouble can really erupt) as to teeth. They provide high quality care and never forget that they are just as much in the people business as the dental business.
